Pastel skulls using Lilic's stamping plate

Hello! I first heard of the wonderful Lilic's  stamping plates in the adventures in stamping Facbook group and knew they had to be mine! There are two plates and here is what they look like:

(click picture to enlarge)

I can't do a full review of the plates as I have only used this one image but I will say if the other images turn out as well as this one did the quality is on a par with Konad. My only issue is that the all over designs are very narrow and would definitely not cover nails any wider nails than mine.

I have been totally neglecting my cuticles recently and it shows! Must purchase some CND 'cuticle away' and actually use my Nubar sweet almond cuticle oil.

Oh and I desperately need a new white polish as Nubar's 'white peony' applies so horribly streaky....if I was not stamping over it I would have just removed it as it looked awful!

Fashion: Winged leopard wedge shoes

Hello! I spotted these shoes on a few blogs and on Tumblr and knew they had to be mine! They are less than £30.00 and from this ebay seller **clicky** They did take a while to arrive (3 weeks) but they are definitely worth the wait! The heel is 5 inches with a 1.5 inch platform. They are actually pretty comfortable and feel spongey and lovely on! Oh and you can remove the wings if you like :)

(click picture to enlarge)

They are made of all synthetic materials in case anyone is wondering

What do you think? Would you wear them? :)

Trasparenze Mock Stocking fenice Tights

Hi. I found these tights in my hosiery drawer (yup I now have an entire drawer dedicated to tights & stockings!) I think they are rather old as I don't remember buying them!

I love any unusual tights and these are definitely one of the more unique mock stocking tights I have seen. They are by the wonderful Trasparenze so once again they are still looking good despite being worn and washed quite a few times now.

Anyway here are some pictures of them on:

Sadly ones skirt/dress would have to be pretty short to even show a hint of the pretty detail *blush*.....but I still love them anyway :P

Would you wear these tights? What is your favourite hosiery brand?

Crafty things: A new Kanzashi & matching eye make up!

Hello!

I was having a little clean out last week of all my fabrics and found a beautiful lilac floral one which I immediately thought would be perfect for a Kanzashi

I did have to dig out my 'Kanazashi in bloom' book as I admit I forgot how to do it :P

If you want to know how to make Kanzashi but don't want to get a book *this* online tutorial is really good.

The tiny middle flower:

I snapped off this little skull cameo from an old hair clip I never wear as I think it really sets it off nicely:

(click picture to enlarge)

Added some felt to the back and sewed on a hair clip:

(click picture to enlarge)

And here it is on....its kind of massive!

(click picture to enlarge)

Oh and my Kanzashi inspired me to try out a pink and purple eye look which is something I have never done before:

Sorry my hair is totally disgusting in those pictures.....I badly need a trip to the hairdressers!

Anyhoo I would rate my Kazashi 6/10! I really think I need to start ironing the fabric before I start and the petals in between folds for a neater finish.

I got some new fabrics and can't wait to make more of them:

Do you think it turned out okay? Would you wear one in your hair? :)

My new Industrial and Tragus piercings :)

Hello :)

I have to admit right away I had never even seen an industrial piercing until I spotted it on Seungri from Big Bang in their music video for 'Fantastic baby' which BTW is pretty awesome! I just thought it was really cute and unusual and wanted one right away!

(click picture to enlarge)

After researching the various types of ear piercings I decided id also like a 'Tragus' piercing so that is what I did! I got both done on the same day and I can honestly say they did not hurt that much at all....pain rating 3/10....but then again the piercer did use a freeze spray first so perhaps this is why!

Here is a picture of my ear just a few days after I got them done. As you can see there is still a little bit of swelling.

My boring left ear!

My pretty Alice in Wonderland white rabbit earrings are from Persephone Plus on etsy :)

***EDIT*** Here is a picture of my right ear today 17/04/2012 its much less swollen now

(click picture to enlarge)

Oh and I also got my nose pierced again on the right side.....you will see that in my next post as there is a picture of my ugly mug!

I cant wait till it heals so I get get this beauty:

(click picture to enlarge)

Apart from not being able to sleep on my right side everything is fine and dandy and I am glad I got them done.

All I can think of now is what to get pierced next.....I think I will have to add a few more to my left ear and perhaps one more to my right....I think I am addicted!

What do you think? Yay or Nay?

New ear piercings :)

Hello

I got two of the ear piercings I wanted a few days ago and thought id share how they look with you :)

I am going to get the right side of my nose pierced in a few days as I think I suit it at the right side (my better side!) so I will then have both sides done :P

Before:

I kind of want to get everything pierced now :P

What do you think? Do you think I will suit the industrial?

Do any of you other than the lovely Helen who commented on my last piercing post (http://helenwaugh.blogspot.co.uk) have this piercing done?
