NOTD: Hot pink holographic skull

This should have been the perfect combination!

The only bright pink polish I could find was Essie 'Pink Parka' which I think I got in a blog sale a million years ago. So I completely forgot how truly awful it is! I applied three coats and there was still visible streaks which is just not good enough!

I applied the amazing HITS Hefesto holographic topcoat to make it sparkle but
if you look closely enough you can see those annoying streaks!

***reminder to self to find the perfect hot pink***

I did not plan on doing any nail art but middle finger was so streaky I had no choice :P

This is the only picture I took that managed to somewhat capture the beautiful holographic sparkle:

How many coats of nail polish is too many?

I grumble if I have to apply more than two :P

HITS 'Hera' holographic nail polish

I really love the HITS holographic polishes and can't wait to get more!

As always natural light does not capture the beauty:

Even bright sunlight only manages to capture a hint of its beauty:

Zoya Blair with delicate flowers

Something elegant and classy for a change using the lovely 'Blair' by Zoya.

Can't help but think this NOTD would look better mattified? Pondering getting Hard Candy matte-ly in love as its one of the few topcoats I have found by brands that don't test on animals.

Have any of you tried it or have any other suggestions?

I have Nubar's matte top coat but it dries to a more satin finish :/

Hello Kitty pink leopard nails

This manicure is one part disappointment and one part happiness!

The disappointment comes from my new Nubar 'pink creme' nail polish which after 3 coats was still visibly streaky. If I was not stamping on top I would have needed another coat. Also because there is so many layers there is the dreaded nail polish tip shrinkage *sighs* The search for the perfect pink polish continues!

Okay now on to the good. My mum picked me up an Accessorize nail polish from Superdrug that I knew instantly would be a good stamping polish. I can't wait to try the other polishes from the Metalized one coat range.

It is called 'Lolite' and its a super dark shimmering grey with an almost purple tinge to it. I wanted to try it out right away....on reflection this colour combination is not quite as nice as I thought it would be :P

Valentine's day make up: MAC Lipstick in Rebel

Hello :) I got this lipstick aaaaages ago now and am only now getting round to trying it out. I think I like it but im not sure as its a bit darker than what I would normally wear. Like all MAC lippies its super opaque and lovely.....yeah so that's the review done on to the pictures!

♥♬ This music makes me high ♥♬ Ixorapink plate A48

Hiya. This is my first NOTD using the lovely Ixorapink ebay store.

I decided to use the musical notes design but mix it up a bit as the all over design is only really suitable for a wide nail like my thumb otherwise most of the notes will be cut off.

To me it kind of looks like it could have been freehanded as its not a super delicate design like the Konad musical notes image. But I still like it.....what do you think?
