Hello!
I was having a little clean out last week of all my fabrics and found a beautiful lilac floral one which I immediately thought would be perfect for a Kanzashi.
I did have to dig out my 'Kanazashi in bloom' book as I admit I forgot how to do it :P
If you want to know how to make Kanzashi but don't want to get a book *this* online tutorial is really good.

I snapped off this little skull cameo from an old hair clip I never wear as I think it really sets it off nicely:

Added some felt to the back and sewed on a hair clip:

Sorry my hair is totally disgusting in those pictures.....I badly need a trip to the hairdressers!
Anyhoo I would rate my Kazashi 6/10! I really think I need to start ironing the fabric before I start and the petals in between folds for a neater finish.
I got some new fabrics and can't wait to make more of them:
