Petal X 'shiny nude' lip gloss review & swatch

Hello :) A while back I discovered the lovely Petalx etsy store and their gorgeous vegan friendly make up.

I decided to purchase their 'shiny nude' lipgloss which costs £5.64 (£2.19 shipping to the UK)

This is what they have to say about this gloss:

'A hot shiny neutral gloss to vamp up your look Kim Kardashian style! This is a very potent pearl sheen to wear alone or to mollify another color.

This smooth, non-greasy, non-sticky just luxuriously hydrating mineral lip gloss is free of fragrance & flavor. Now with Grapeseed Oil, Avocado Oil & Vitamin E!! Vitamin E is a natural antioxidant - extending the shelf life of your product and helping your lips out at the same time
'

I have been wearing lots of bright lippies lately but wanted to go back to wearing shimmery lipgloss for a more natural look and thought this would be perfect for me.

The lipgloss arrived in a timely manner wrapped up all prettily :)

The lipgloss tube has 8ml of gloss which is a pretty standard amount.

And here it is on:

My Verdict: This gloss is absolutely gorgeous to apply! I have never used a gloss that applied so smoothy and left my lips feeling so beautifully soft even after removing. As for the colour.......as much as I love it I just don't think it suits me due to it being a golden nude rather than a pale pink or silver that I would normally go for. This would look amazing on a darker skin tone so I will be giving it to my gorgeous brunette bestie who im sure will rock it a million times better than I ever could!

They have a 5 item sample pack for less than £3.00 which would be great for trying out new colours before you decide to purchase the full size items.

I will definitely be purchasing this as I would love to try out more of their lip products :)

NOTD: Jeremy Scott nails

Hello :) I am a huge fan of fashion designer Jeremy Scott . His designs feature skeletons, pandas, wings, leopard print, ultra bright colours and general kawaii fierceness! Oh and he adores 2NE1 and has made the gorgeous CL his muse :)

Fashion: Fifi Lapin print dress & bargain coat :)

Hello :) I have mentioned before that I am a huge fan of Fifi Lapin

I have been scouring ebay for months for the elusive Copyright brand dress with a unlicensed Fifi Lapin print. I thought it would never appear then one day there it was.....I was so overjoyed as I had missed out on one last time as I forgot about the auction :P

This time my luck was in and I won it for £2.22!!!

And here it is:

Another amazing bargain I got recently was this gorgeous lilac mac from Dunnes stores for only £7.00! I am a huge fan of bright coloured mac's :)

I wouldn't normally go for this colour as I don't think it suits me (I look AWFUL in purple hues) but once I tried it on it looked okay especially with my pink Fifi Lapin scarf :) Its a size 8, I am normally a 10 sometimes a 12 so I was surprised I could get this on. I even managed to button it  up but its super tight.......more incentive to get my ass to the gym and loose some lard!

What has been your best bargain recently?

The wailing owl screams solitary to the mournful moon (Part 2)

Hello :) Last week I went out and bought two new Barry M nail polishes......why? I have no idea! I think the formula is awful! Who wants to apply 4+ coats for an opaque finish?! Anyway I was pleasantly surprised by Cyan Blue as I only needed two coats WOOP! The other one I bought was Blue Moon which I tested last night and unfortunately this is another 4 coater *sighs* I must try to resist the pretty colours and cheap prices :P

As its been a while since I did owl manicure I thought I would do them again as I  owls.

Oh and part one is here ***clicky***
