REVIEW: Gosh Extreme Art Liquid Eyeliners :)

Hello :) Something non nail art related for a change!

Before I even bought these eyeliners I was impressed with them....let me explain! I swatched them on my hand in Superdrug one day a few weeks ago not expecting them to live up to their 'extremely waterproof' and 'semi-permanent' claim.

24 hours later after 1 shower multiple hand washes and ample usage of anti bacterial hand gel they were still there....as bold and as colourful as they day they were applied.

I have been on the hunt of a truly waterproof liner pretty much forever as my eyes are crazy watery. I never thought I would have found my Holy Grail liquid liner in the form of a mid price drugstore buy.

If you want to read what Gosh have to say about these ***click here***

These are the ones I picked up:

(Click Picture to enlarge)

11: Aqua. The picture does not do this colour any justice whatsoever! It is super bright and metallic.

07: Jet Black: This really is the blackest of the black.

08: Light Blue: This is a pretty silvery pale blue....gorgeous!

They cost £7.00 each from Superdrug but when I purchased them they were in the 3 for 2 Gosh Promotion.

Here they are swatched on my uber pale skin:

(Click Picture to enlarge)

These are just one swipe of it so as you can see they are super opaque.

Have I raved enough about this eyeliner yet?

I used 11: Aqua a few days ago and I can confirm it really is completely waterproof and doesn't dull at all with wear:

(Click Picture to enlarge)

Ew. I look as ugly as I have been feeling lately.....*big sigh* Please excuse my horrible blotchy skin....

Eyelash extensions have been removed :P

(Click Picture to enlarge)

Its such a pretty colour :)

And here is another horrible picture of me this time wearing the black liner I had on more recently:

Do you like my cute new bunny necklace?

(Click Picture to enlarge)

£8.00 from Accessorize :)

Anyway back to the eyeliners.....

So would I recommend them? YES x 9999999!

Get yours now  :)

And if you don't believe me swatch them for yourself next time you are in Superdrug......you wont be disappointed :)

Cant wait to try some more Gosh products!

Just have a good oily eye make up remover to hand so you don't have to scrub your eyes. I use this one:

Its amazing!

£2.99 from www.directcosmetics.com

Small Haul: Paperchase Loveage! :)

Hello :) Im sure I have mentioned before how much I LOVE paperchase.

I was absolutely gutted when the Borders in Glasgow closed down and there was nowhere to buy Paperchase anymore. Since then Waterstones book store have opened up a small concession. Its no where near as good as the one that used to be in borders but its better than nothing and you can buy Paperchase stuff from Amazon and on their newly revamped website http://www.paperchase.co.uk/

I was browsing all the stuff a little while ago and bought these two things:

Long Pencilcase from the 'Dreamland' collection £4.00. Its the perfect size to fit all my acrylic nail art paints :)

(Click picture to enlarge)

Pretty wood effect Owl Iphone case £11.50

Neon PM Set

(Click picture to enlarge)

Here is the quick NOTD I did using 'Top Turquoise' which is a lovely greeney blue shade.

My konading is awful here....truth is I have not been feeling in the mood to do my nails the last while.....most of the NOTD you are seeing are from a few weeks back *sighs*

My nails were bare for 3 days last week! eek! But thanks to 'Bubble White' I mentioned a few posts back my nails are no longer hideous :P

But hopefully now I have all these lovely new polishes to inspire me ill get back to my old self.

(Click picture to enlarge)

Oh and lastly I picked up what is probably the best top coat I have ever tried!

:)

Its Essie's 'Good to Go' I got it for around £8.00 from ebay.

It really is super fast drying and ultra glossy AND best of all it doesn't smudge Konad designs!

Haul: My acrylic paints for nail art collection & Fimo cane slices

Hello Everyone :) I have been LOVING using acrylic paints for free hand nail art lately. Its a million times easier to work with than nail art pens and polish plus it works out lots cheaper as the bottles are rather large and will last a long time.

I have been going to Hobbycraft as much as possible as the 'Folk Art' paints they sell there for around £1.99 each are my absolute favourite! The colour selection is so pretty and they are very opaque.

Here are the ones I have so far:

(Click picture to enlarge)

Here are some swatches of the paints in case any of you are interested in trying them:

(Click picture to enlarge)

I also picked up some cute fimo slices from http://www.mytinyworld.co.uk/nailart.asp as I have never tried these before but have seen so many of you girls using them and been amazed by the super cute looks you have done.

(Click picture to enlarge)

I would thoroughly recommend this site....I placed my order late at night and it was sent the next morning :)

Cant wait to try them!

I have the cure! No more yellow peril for me!

Hello :) I have suffered from nasty yellow nail polish stained nails for almost a year now. Lemon juice has helped somewhat but lately my nails have been so bad the lemon juice couldn't remove the yellow nastyness.

I know you are thinking why bother if your nails are always painted but I really cant stand knowing they are in such a horrid state under my nail polish!

This is my nails, 2 weeks ago at their absolute worst:

(Click picture to enlarge)

I then randomly found the cure! when browsing ebay for nail treatments:

(Picture from http://www.ravencosmetics.co.uk)

I read some really positive reviews and did not want to wait so I called up my local Sally's beauty supply and luckily they had it in stock.

It costs £9.99 for this tub in Sally's but you can also buy a 1 use sachet for £1.99.

You add one scoop of the Bubble White powder to a bowl of warm water and soak your nails for 5 minutes. Im not one to follow instructions so I did the treatment X4 and soaked my nails for around 20 minutes.

Here is my truly miraculous results:

(Click picture to enlarge)

Almost normal right?

Still a hint of orange/yellow towards the tips but overall a HUGE improvement. I did use up around 75% of the tub as like I said I soaked my nails 4 times using the stuff but for me £9.99 is a small price to pay for such a big difference.

I will buy another tub and do a five minute soak once a week just to maintain and hopefully further improve my nails :)

I know some of you suffer from yellow nails also......

 but is anyone's really as bad as mine in the before picture?

Amazing Big Eye Make-Over (Monolid to Doublelid)

Hello :) I found this picture and was absolutely amazed at the difference some make up, false lashes and circle lenses can make!

The girl above (Emily) was made over on a TV show, admittedly her before look was probably made to look worse than she normal looks and she is in no way ugly but you cant deny the end result isn't amazing!

I have embedded the video of the makeover below. If for whatever reason it doesn't work click ***here***

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I noticed from 6:55-7:52 on the video the application of some kind of eyelid glue for turning a mono lid into a double lid?
I have heard of this before but had never actually seen it being used......it does seems really effective.
 Does this stuff last all day? Do any of you guys use this stuff? Does it really help your eye look a huge deal bigger?
The video is not in English....its in Chinese (I think!)
This is my eyes looking pretty big......do you think I could/should make them look bigger?!
What do you think about these girls make-overs?
Fashion: Skull Crazy! & A little D.I.Y Project :)
Hello :) Have I mentioned that im absolutely SKULL CRAZY! I heart all things with skulls on :)
Anyone a Alexander McQueen fan? If you are you will know the above boots were designed by the late Mr McQueen himself and will have probably also noticed the multitude of fakes of these boots popping up here there and everywhere! Seriously how do they get away with it?!
Whilst I like these boots and they fit my skull criteria all that's really special about them is the lil skull zip pull so I have bypassed all the fakes (as the original is out of my price range) and have been searching for a similar style boot but with a little something extra special about it.....
And  I found it!:
Iron Fist Mono Skull Sequin Moto Boot Platform Heels £69.99
How much better are these?
They are by Iron Fist an American Brand who make the cutest shoes ever for us spooky girls :) I purchased mine from Amazon.com for just a smidgen under £40.00 but I might have to pay customs fees so maybe I should have just got them from thealternativestore.net :P Oh well! Cant wait till they arrive!
Whilst I have your attention I will share some other Skull things I have bought recently:
Pretty Skull Rhinestone Brooch from Claire's Accessories (£5.50)
Embossed Skull Bag from Ebay.co.uk (£19.99) Its a really large bag...my new 'everyday bag'
Other skull fanatics might notice this is heavily inspired by the gorgeous Treesje Mortale collection which I covet!
And lastly a small DIY project turned a plain black pair of shoes into these:
Only problem is when you look close you can see the glue as I kind of overdid it :P
I used these little skull embellishments from ebay:
They were around £1.00....I love finding cheap ways to jazz up plain things :)
Have any of you undertaken any D.I.Y projects lately fashion related or otherwise?
