More on FitFlops......save money! and Introducing Miso :)

Im suffering from severe exhaustion! I didnt sleep at all last night and im trying my hardest to stay awake in the hope ill sleep tonight *big sighs*


Okay so I just discovered there are a few styles of kids/girls fitflops online that are the same as the adults ones only they do of course start in smaller sizes....BUT they go up to a size 5, yes thats a womans five so if you are a woman and a size five or less you can get some of the same designs ALOT cheaper! The kids fitflops are only £30.00 compared to the EXACT same ones from the womans range which are £50.00!!! 


On achillesheel.co.uk they have the 'Electra' design in Silver and Pink and the 'Oasis' design in blue and purple.


I know I said I dont know how I feel about the toe post but when they are £20.00 less they dont seem like such a waste of money if I end up not liking them :)

I ended up ordering the Silver 'Electra' which looks really pretty and summery :)

Ill make sure I do a proper review on them when I get them........I better not end up with CLAW FOOT!!! 

And with the £20.00 I saved I got this skull maxi dress from ebay:

Im so glad I found it on ebay as I had been eyeing it on YESSTYLE.COM but it was much pricier on there :)

This week I met my personal target of getting back to the gym and went twice! Today I went and I did 15 mins rowing, 25 mins on the treadmill and 45 mins on the stationary bike which is slightly better than last time! But lets hope for better next week :P

Konad and Leave in Conditioner Ponderage

Todays Konadicure is so boring I almost didnt bother to photograph it :P I decided just to post it as I hate blogs with no pictures :P

I used my new Matrix Biolage Ultra Hydrating Balm tonight and my hair is looking MUCH better.....gosh that Mega Tek had made it SO darn dry even thou I rarely put it anywhere but my roots. I will do another Mega Tek treatment again on Saturday/Sunday :)

Im in dire need of a good leave in conditioner as the L'Oreal elvive one is really not good at all, last time I used it my hair was so lank and sticky :(

For ages I have been using this:

Only problem is its £20.00!!! Its so lovely but URGH I need to reduce my spendage!

I normally find with leave in conditioners you definately get what you pay for and havent had much luck with the ones from Boots and Superdrug.

I have been looking at this one:

Its especially for blondes and has some good reviews on Makeupalley.com although I havent been able to find other sites with reviews *sighs*

Its just under £10.00 at feelunique.com so maybe I will go ahead and treat myself :)

I took the Fitflops back today......so im still on the hunt for my perfect summer sandals that have added health benefits :)

Fitflops and stunning ladies!

So today I bought my Fitflops, here they are:

Please excuse my rather unattractive corpse white feet!! Hmmm so what do I think of the FitFlops......well I did say im not used to them, my feet feel so naked :/ I dunno if I like them! I like the 'idea' of them thou! :P

So do I keep them? Well I have only worn them for one min in the house so I certainly *can* take them back. I will have to sleep on it I guess.

I must confess that as well as the FitFlops I also bought a coat, a cardigan and jeans today :P I feel UBER guilty thou.....I may take back the coat and cardie..... *sighs*

I managed to pop into Boots and got my 3 for 2 Perfectil

and then to Holland and Barrett for:

I found that when I was taking these (for around 2 months) it may have helped my hair grow. They are only £3.49 so they are deffo worth trying again :)

Back to the gym! Fitflops

So with the help of my Reebok Easytones I finally made my way to the gym today for the first time in TWO MONTHS!!!! So let me start off by saying that the Easytones are not the best trainers for working out in, they are a tad bulky :/ I especially noticed this whilst using the rowing machine.... *sighs* so back to my VERY scabby Earth trainers for now and maybe just use the Easytones with VERY casual outfits in the summer *grumbles* Why cant I find the 'perfect' trainer! 


To help keep me in track im going to log my exercise on here. This will hopefully shame me into being a better person :P 


So today I did:


15 mins rowing, 20 mins power walking on the treadmill (took it up to 5.5 speed & 15.00 which is the highest incline) and 30 mins on the stationary bike :)


Not amazing but im trying not to be too hard on myself....it was my first day in ages!


Continuing with the theme of 'Fitness Footwear' id really like to get myself a pair of FitFlops for use in the summer. Fit flops are SO not my thing but anything that can help tone my fat ass is worthwhile trying!

I did a Konadicure tonight but its a bit bleh and not worth showing off!

Today I actually liked my make up!

Today I used AromaLeigh eyeshadows and I LOVE THEM! The colours are gorgeous :) I did my usual 'blue' eyes look using 'Planet Earth', 'Cielo' and 'White Wedding'.

Nothing fancy.....but thats me all over hence the user name 'Forever the ugly duckling' *le sigh* YUCK

I have serious issues.......

I also shopped again today! I can never leave Boots empty handed :P

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this Collection 2000 mascara, this is my back up one. Also really needed a new liquid liner that lasts :) Had to have this pretty turquoise glitter liner, its my third one from Collection 2000 and I have nothing but good things to say about them! Cant wait to see how the NYX ones match up :)

Watching Eastenders just now on the I player, how gorgeous is Amira? Her hair is amazing- so so pretty- im SO SO jelous!

4am shopping online haul

So instead of ZZZ'n at a normal hour last night I shopped! I got myself:

I have been reading alot about these liners lately and just had to try them at the bargain price they were on cheapsmells.com :) 

The ultra hydrating balm is one of my all time favorite conditioners and the 500ml tub should last me a while. I figured I needed to get a really hydrating product now im using Mega Tek and the £2.00 drugstore conditioners just dont cut it when it comes to adding moisture.

I forgot to add that I also bought this lippie:

Its another NYX product, its the Diamond Sparkle Lipstick in 'Salmon' it was only £2.69 so I thought it was worth a try even thou im not a lipstick person 

(I usually just wear Chanel Glossimers)

Oh and I should mention for my own records that I used Mega Tek again last night and will be washing it out shortly :)

China Glaze 'OMG' Collection of Holographic polishes & Reebok EasyTones :)

I have all of the CG Holo polishes but only ever use 2NITE and LOL.......as they are all so pretty I decided to use one of them tonight :) I used LOL which is a gorgeous purple and did some Konad on top:

Its my birthday next week and I got one of my presents earlier YAY!! :) I got the Reebok Easytones I wanted 

I have always been a lover of Trainers with extra benefits and have worn my 'Earth' trainers for years they are so scabby now I had to get a new pair :)

These are the perfect reason for me to get my lardy ass back to the gym. I used to be a GYM BUNNY! You couldnt get me away from the place......but now.......im a lazy pig! Havent been for 2 months :P I deffo plan to get back to my usual routine starting from next week I plan on going back at least twice then in a few weeks get back to going 5 days :) 

In other news I ordered the larger size of Mega Tek :) And I plan on picking up a few more Glitter Liners. I have tried all of the Urban Decay ones but tbh the Collection 2000 ones are JUST as good honestly :) But now I have discovered NYX ones which have much more colour choices so I need to ponder what ones to get........ 

I shouldnt really be getting anything as I NEED TO STOP SPENDING!!!!

Circle Contact Lens and Small Beauty Haul :)

So I have been waiting for AGES for my Geo Angel Grey's from Pinky Paradise......getting really impatient! So today I took the plunge and ordered the Geo Angel Violets from My Candy Eyes :) They are all so pretty it was hard to choose. I must have spent around 3 hours watching youtube reviews and scouring the net for pictures!

I do actually have a prescription for glasses but I only really need them for the TV and anything far away so I dont wear them often......I really hate the indent I get in my nose when I wear them :P


I went out for a little browse around the shops today and came back with a few things:

1. Murine Bright and Moist eyes: My eyes have been horrible and blood shot lately due to my horrible sleeping patterns so hopefully these drops will make them look better.

2 & 3. Schwarzkopf Hair Repair Shampoo and Conditioner (was B.O.G.O.F) This stuff smells lovely and it was £2.00 for both so I had to have them!

4. Garnier Pure Active Blackhead Clearing Scrub: Needed a new daily wash :)

The make up Samples I ordered from Aroma Leigh arrived today, they are all so pretty :) I really loved the Sonic Rocks shadows in particular. Today I used 'White Wedding' and 'Just Like Heaven' 

Nothing fancy! I aint no expert like alot of you girls :)

***Mega Tek Treatment: Going to do this tonight again with more Elemis Monoi oil and rinse it in the morning***

Oh and tonight im dying my pale blonde eyelashes using Eyelure Dyelash in Blue/Black, taking an antihistamine as my eyes sometimes swell up (not pretty!)

Today I picked up a few bargains from Aldi which some of you may know has really great skincare at insane cheap prices. I picked up two 75p hand creams and a £1.50 eye cream:

So as I mentioned earlier today I wore my HairDo by Ken Paves and Jessica Simpson clip in fringe today.......what do you think?

Its unlike all the other clip in bangs I have seen, its so full and much easier to blend in with your natural hair. It really boots the thickness of my hair which I have serious problems with!

I LOVE IT! I would thorougly recommend the Ken Paves hair extensions line :)

They have great pieces for girls like me that have horribly thin hair......next stop is the clip in pony tail :)  

Today's Konadicure

Today I used China Glaze Passion which is a lovely gold and Konad Plate M64:

Its a bit wonky as you can see! Not sure if I like it (as always!) :P

Today im wearing my HairDo by Ken Paves and Jessica Simpson clip in fringe hair extension, gosh its such a weird feeling! Feel a bit self concious and dunno if I suit it....... *might* post pictures and a review :)

Went up to my friends, we did our nails, I did mine using 'Manga' by Miss Sporty and the Konad Zebra plate, the colour is much more coral in real life.....looks so red here:

BUT! I hope to pick up some Collection 2000 Glam Crystals Glitter Liners :) I was loyal to the Urban Decay ones for so long but since trying the Collection 2000 which btw are just as good ive decided to make the swap. After all I can get 4 Collection 2000 ones for the price of 1 Urban Decay Liner......I have been a make up snob for years but now im changing.....I love a bargain!

OH! I almost forgot to write that im using the Mega Tek again overnight and will rinse it off Wednesday Morning. There is not much left in the tub, probs only enough to do one and a bit treatments so I guess ill have to order the larger size if I want to give it a fair trial....

Saturday

o I thought I was going to do my nails gold with a black Konad stamp on it but I bought another 3 nail polishes today.....all cheapies! 3 for 2 Miss Sporty Ones at Superdrug:

Really liked how It turned out! The blue looks great for such a cheap polish :)

I got the cutest I phone cover from Paperchase the other day. Its from the 'Happy Noodle' Collection which I LOVE......I may be forced to buy everything!

This morning I rinsed out the Mega Tek and Elemis oil, then shampoo'd and conditioned my hair and it was really lovely! Soft and Shiny.....as to whether it will make it thicker only time will tell :) Will try and do the treatment 2-3 times a week. Really hope it works for me. xo

Mega Tek

So I know im like 4 years late with this but I only just discovered Mega Tek :) After spending hours on haircare forums I finally ordered the smallest quantity, a 59.19ml jar from www.tailgator.co.uk

There are a million different suggestions of how to apply it so tonight I am applying the Mega Tek to my scalp and the short bit of hair I wear across my face thats uber dry and damaged. To the lengths I have applied this:

Just to make sure my ends get some moisture. I am going to leave this on overnight and tommorow morning I will wash it off and deep condition :) 

The reason I have decided to try this treatment is my hair is VERY thin and sparse as some of it at the top fell out due to stress last year. It has been growing a bit since I started taking Silica Supplements from Holland and Barrett so ANYTHING that can help ill be glad to shell out the cash on! I have used other protein treatments in the past one of which, Nexus, Emergencee worked really well at making my hair just look better overall but I really hope the mega tek works for thickness as thats what I desparately need! :)

I will update whenever I do the treatment and with details of the results im getting :)

Gonna do a new Konadicure tommorow!

Wednesday's Nails

So I decided to use my new Rimmel 'Grey Matter' polish with some Konad and this is what I did:

Today I purchased St Ives Microdermabrasion scrub :)

Cant wait to try it!

New BB Cream Purchase!

So what do you do when its 5am and you cant sleep........well if you are me you will shop online for Beauty Products!


So I have tried BB cream before (L'gere white BB Cream) and it was REALLY good but a tad too dark for my corpse like skin. So I have been trawling the blogs looking for swatches when I found Etude House Precious Mineral BB cream in Shade 01. All the bloggers reviews stated they love it but its SO pale which made me think it will be perfect for me! :)


So I took the plunge and ordered it from ebay and it was just slightly over £10-BARGAIN!


Here is a picture of it:

At the moment I am using Bourjois Healthy Mix foundation in shade Vanille Clair which is the palest shade they have but it looks a bit orangey on me :( The only make up that has ever matched my skin really well is Laura Mercier Oil Free tinted Moisturiser in Porcelain but its SO pricey BUT I think if this BB cream doesnt match my skin ill just have to cough up the cash and go back to LM.


No new nails today but I plan on using the new Rimmel grey polish tommorow :)

Saturday's Nails

I promised myself id stop splurging on cheap nail polish as its usually just not worth it but today I walked into superdrug today and bought another cheapie! I tested it earlier and it actually goes on quite well *shocker*

So for today I went for an old favorite, a simple silver with konad blue stamping polish :)

Its kinda plain but it kinda matches my coat and brooch.....maybe :P

Wednesday & Thursdays Nails

This was Wednesday's nails.......hmmmm not sure about the Coral/Orange shade on my corpse pale skin! Only kept this for one day :P

This was Thursdays nails and I may just keep this for more than a day :P Used Trixie by Zoya and did blue and black leopard print using one of my konad plates :) A bit of a messy job but I like it better than the orange :P

Konad Nail Art

Hi Everyone....or anyone....uhm probably nobody! :P

Not sure yet what the purpose of this blog is yet :)

Anyway, my first post shall be some Konad Nail art things ive done recently. Can I just add I am in no way a professional at all.......so far from it! I just love it and do it for fun :)
